[left our lodging in Denver, CO (1030) - (visited Denver Zoo ?) - drove into Rocky Mountain National Park and got a campsite (1700) - I-25, US-36 US-34 - day was sunny]

[drove from Oakley, KS (1000) to Denver, CO (1530) - I-70, I-25 - (visited Elitch Gardens?) - then drove to Lookout Mountain to visit Buffalo Bill's Grave - I-25, US-6, I-70, US-40, (back roads) - (note: "Harold, Esther, Ann" ?) - sunny and mild all day]

Summer Family Vacation - Day 8

[left Paxico, KS (1030) and drove to Oakley, KS (1915) - about an hour into our day, we stopped to visit the Eisenhower Home and Dwight D. Eisenhower Library in Abilene, KS - sunny in the morning but got very cloudy and windy as we drove west]

[left Mountain Grove, MO (1000) and drove to Mansfield, MO to visit Laura Ingalls Wilder home - I-44, MO-5 - "saw hay rolled like jelly rolls" - US-60, US-65, I-44, MO-13, US-71, I-435, I-70 - continued driving until 2100 and stopped at Paxico, KS (KOA?) for the night - day was partly cloudy but it poured during the night]
