San Juan (Puerto Rico)
Rob wanted to visit his family tonight so we drove back up towards San Juan again. Just before we got to the city, we turned West towards Arecibo and found that there were several huge vacation resorts. Rob's family was staying in one and they were very happy to see him. They gave me some gambling money and he spent several hours visiting before we had to drive back.

San Juan (Puerto Rico)
Gerald and I were able to snag the rental car today and we went on a long drive up to Old San Juan. I have never been able to get away from work - let alone drive this far up the coast... It was a nice day to stroll the old fortress (San Juan National Historic Site) and see all the tourists coming and going from the cruise ships. We had some great food before we finally headed back.

Puerto Rico
We checked out the El Conquistador Hotel - a huge resort on the southeast end of the island. I have been here before. We had some drinks and played a little in the casino.

Roosevelt Roads (Puerto Rico)
Got up early and flew (with Gerald) down to Puerto Rico with Matt and Chad (formation). Had a great time - flew tactical form and enjoyed the view. About half way there, asked controllers about the weather and found out it wouldn't be great. Matt decided to break up the formation early and went in on a precision approach while Gerald and I decided to take our plane into the break - we ended up beating them to the Club... Everyone else showed up later in the evening...

Puerto Rico
Got up really early to check out - and got that done before everyone else. Showed up at the terminal for an 1100 departure. Spent a long time waiting for our flight - and when the crew showed up, they shut down and left! That was pretty annoying... They came back later and we finally went home - didn't get to the house until nearly 2000...

Puerto Rico
Up early for a flight this morning (0600). Had an awesome time over by the island of St. Croix... Back at the room around 1500 (nap for two hours). Drove with the guys over to the Hyatt Casino - more craps and blackjack... Had lots of fun - bed late.

Puerto Rico
Had a flight this morning - good views of the Roosevelt Roads and the Island of Vieques. Home by 1630. Dinner in room and then went out with everyone to the El Conquistador hotel. Mark taught me how to play "craps" - it was fun. We spent most of the night there and got back very late...
