[date uncertain - (woke up on Davenport ?) - because I had Navy ROTC activities the following day, I drove back to South Bend with one guy from our group of 10 (rest stayed to work the Caucuses) - (crossed Mississippi River at Moline?) - I-80 back to South Bend]

[(woke up in Keokuk) - did a little more work for the Caucus (in Keokuk and Fort Madison) - this was probably the night I met Mike Dukakis at an event in Fort Madison - (overnight in Davenport again ?)]

[(woke up in Davenport) - worked phones, went door to door in Davenport & (after a drive) Keokuk - (over night in Keokuk at lady's house - she had a Ted Kennedy shrine)]
