Cape Cod Trip - Day 3

[left Maggie Valley at 0815L - went to (Parkway) visitor center (0930L) - driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway - lunch in Mount Mitchell State Park, the highest point east of the Mississippi (1100L) - continued on the Parkway - gas and souvenirs at Brady's Old'e Time General Store in Deep Gap, North Carolina (1440L) - had dinner at Cumberland Knob, North Carolina (1700L) - continued into Virginia - stopped at Mabry Mill (1815L) - called Katie - soon after (1915L), left the Blue Ridge Parkway and got on VA-8 - drove towards Christiansburg - I-81 (2000L) - dinner at Taco Bell in Harrisonburg (2200L) - continued north on I-81 - entered Pennsylvania and filled up tank at Greencastle (0015L) - kept driving until VERY late - near Tamaqua, got off interstate (PA-309) and found a place to stay, Pines Motel (0245L)]

Cape Cod Trip - Day 2

[left Bridgeport at 0830L - used county roads (75 and 98) to get to Russell Cave National Monument (0900L) - county roads back to US-72 and into Tennessee - used TN-156 and then I-24 - stopped at scenic spot at 1045L - used back roads to get into Georgia - stopped at Chickamauga National Military Park (1325L) - gas fillup at Fort Oglethorpe (1615L) - GA-2, I-75, US-64 bypass round Cleveland, Tennessee - US-64, US-74 and US-19 into North Carolina - bathroom break in Bryson City, North Carolina (1915L) - called Katie - US-19 to Cherokee - US-441 - "Smokies" Parkway and Blue Ridge Parkway to US-19 - stopped at Maggie Valley, North Carolina - late dinner at Maggie's Kountry Kitchen - stayed at Maggie Valley Motel (2130L)]

Cape Cod Trip - Day 1

[left Meridian at 1710L - used I-20/I-59 - got off the interstate at Gadsen, Alabama - gas fillup in Attalla(2030L) - took US-431 to Guntersville - AL-79 and US-72 to Bridgeport (2300L) - stayed in the Hess Motor Inn]

Jackson, MS (USA)

[bank in the morning - drove back to Jackson, signed final paperwork and made payment for Nissan - drove back to Meridian]

[drove to Jackson to finish up discussions with Regency Mitsubishi - photo - was able to drive car back to Meridian (have to come back tomorrow)]

Philadelphia, MS (USA)

[Nicky's car had a major transmission problem (couldn't shift it at all) - followed her (slowly) on back roads to Philadelphia, Mississippi, where some of her cousins lived - Jeff and I worked on the car all day and got it working again (fluids) - but I'll need a new transmission... (dinner nearby ?)]
