San Salvador (El Salvador)

Had an OK sleep in the Quality Inn Real Aeropuerto El Salvador.  Met the crew early and headed to the airport for our mission (flying with Jack T. again).  We were able to buy some good coffee inside the airport while we waited for our next leg. It wasn't too hot - I'm glad it isn't the middle of the summer! [did we stop in Gulfport for Customs?] Made a stop in Atlanta and, during our leg back to Hampton Roads, encountered huge thunderstorms - they were all around us, but we picked our way through...

San Salvador (El Salvador)

[flew with Jack T. - itinerary uncertain - we ended up on an RON in San Salvador, El Salvador and we stayed in the Quality Inn Real Aeropuerto - we ate a nice dinner in the hotel restaurant]

San Diego, CA (USA)

[checked out of the NAS North Island Navy Lodge, returned our rental car to the Hertz desk (0700L) - then flew (with Andy) from San Diego to Virginia Beach - itinerary uncertain]

[Mission to San Diego] Flew (with Andy) from Virginia Beach to California.  [Itinerary uncertain]  Arrived at about 1700L and picked up our rental car (from Hertz).  Checked into the Navy Lodge (on the beach!) and then left the base for some fun.  Ate dinner at the Coronado Brewing Company tonight - it was good (as usual).  Bed relatively early - home tomorrow.
