Mount Vernon, VA (USA)
We got to visit George Washington's home with the kids on the day of his birthday - it was free. The weather was bad - some amazing accidents all around us on the way up there. The weather turned out great and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. George himself was there and the kids shook his hand. We saw some people working on the farm and toured Mount Vernon. The weather was nice and there weren't too many people there (at first). A very memorable trip!

Fallon, NV (USA)
[woke up in the Excalibur and checked out early - drove rental car to Signature Flight Support (McCarron Airport) and returned it (0655L) - flying with Steve Q - departed from Las Vegas - stopped in Fallon (I recall that we had an elevation issue but fuzzy memory) - continued to NAS Lemoore (lost GPS during flight - fortunately, weather was very nice) - Steve got us into a SNAFU (due to flight routing) near R2508 (another story) on the way home - (I believe we stopped at Forbes Field in Topeka for fuel) - made it back to Norfolk very late]

Las Vegas, NV (USA)
[flying with Steve Q. - itinerary after Norfolk uncertain but we stopped at NAF El Centro, CA before continuing on to Las Vegas (probably McCarron) - picked up rental car from Signature Flight Support (1425L) and then drove down the Strip - we stayed at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino - (note: probably drove with Steve to the Hoover Dam)]
