[left in the morning - drove from Meridian to Pensacola - US-45, AL-17 (etc.) - stopped at site of surrender of Confederate forces (Gen. Richard Taylor to Gen. Edward Canby, MAY 1865) northeast of Mobile - continued to Pensacola - snack lunch with gas fillup in Milton (1100L ?) - bowling and video games with Andy and June (at NAS ?) - drove back to Pensacola and had dinner at Pizza Hut (Warrington) - got cash at ATM (1730) - drove back to Meridian (arrived very late ?)]

[left Frystown at 1040L - south on I-81 - drove through Harrisburg (saw State Capitol ?) - enjoyed a few rest areas (drinks and snacks) - postcards in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania - I-81 - lunch in Woodstock, Virginia (1345L) - gas fillup in Wytheville (1715L) - one more gas stop in Trenton, Georgia (2055L) - took very few (if any) breaks all the way home - in Alabama at midnight...]

Cape Cod Trip - Day 9

[Nicky feeling better - we were able to do a little more shopping (Irish Items in Dennis) - (lunch at Marshside ?) - (Brewster Mill and Mom's Cemetery ?) - continued exploring - ended up in West Harwich - dinner at Friendly's (1700L) - back to Dennis - called Dorothea to say we couldn't visit - said goodbye to Dad and Beth - one last gas fillup at Mike's (1937L) - crossed canal - (took MA-25 to I-195 to I-95 and through NYC - then on I-78 - crossed Delaware River at 1252L - drove to Allentown, Pennsylvania - gas in Bethel (0300L) - stayed the night in Motel of Frystown #2 (0315L)]

[called Dorothea - Nicky not feeling well (mold ?) - ended up going to see a movie ("The Client") - packing]

[Nicky wanted to go back to Cuffeys, so we did - and then we went to the Cape Cod Mall - ate late lunch at Roman Delight Pizza (1441L) - photo develop at Ritz Camera Center - Nicky not feeling well (?)]

[took Nicky shopping - bought gifts for Katie and Carolyn) - Cuffy's Outlet - (visited Aunt Irene ?) - dinner at Friendly's (South Yarmouth ?) - video games (at bowling alley ?)]

[slept a little late - (visited Grammy) - drove over to visit the National Seashore - lunch in Welfeet at the "Light Cafe" - Great Island - drinks at Guido Murphy's in the evening]
