Summer Family Vacation - Day 61

[date uncertain (could have been 1977 trip but the closeness to a Monday in the itinerary seems to fit 1979) - I believe we may have tried to visit Fort Ticonderoga in the morning but found out it was closed on Mondays (I remember being upset at this) - we may have taken the Lake Champlain Ferry into Vermont because I think we also passed through Middlebury (ate at a diner, played peg solitaire game) on the way back towards home - we eventually arrived in Massachusetts (same day?) but I'm not certain of the itinerary to Cape Cod - home via US-6 - trip complete]
