[date uncertain - family trip with my mother, sisters and Aunt Nelle - traveled in Green Volkswagen Bus - at the beginning of the day, we drove north towards Boston and stopped in Concord - visited Old North Bridge - then continued west towards New York - got on Mass Pike - crossed under Appalachian Trail (my mom pointed it out to me) - not certain about where we stopped for the night but it was probably in New York]
