[LSO Training] My squadron mate, Mike A., and I flew out early this morning for two weeks of training in Norfolk. We departed from Jacksonville [at 0730 (on a US Airways MD-80)] and were in Charlotte (NC) by [0845]. After our layover, we took another [US Airways MD-80 (0945)] to Norfolk, arriving by [1100]. Mike got our rental car and we drove to NAS Oceana, where we checked into a room at the BOQ.  [Dinner, etc. nearby.]
