Thanksgiving Trip - Day 1

[drove to the Hartsfield airport around 0500L for our flight from Atlanta to Denver - it turned out to a only a partially filled flight (with room for the kids to spread out!) - we arrived in Colorado before (0800L) and picked up rental car (Hertz) - after getting our bearings (and breakfast ?), we began our drive down to Colorado Springs - it took nearly two hours to get there - we still arrived at the Broadmoor Hotel with plenty of time to get ready for Thanksgiving dinner - we had a great time visiting with the family!]
