Doylestown, PA (USA)

Woke up very early (at NAS JRB Willow Grove) and headed over to work. Found out they wanted me to fly for the next two days (I love coming here!). The end result, though, was that I had to hurry to get some significant preflight planning done today! No one else arrived for a couple of hours but it gave me a chance to get a lot of stuff done with the folks we came to visit. By 0930, when everyone else was at the office, I had nearly finished the hardest of the work and had time to take a break for the several meetings that are always required with our group. Around 1100, I got back to work. By 1230, the "lunch train" was leaving and I went out with all the guys to Moe's - a place I used to frequent in Atlanta but rarely visit anywhere else. It brought back old memories (it was always a fun environment and the food was always good). Found out Dave and Jeff had wanted the car (oops, I had the keys but not the car!). They ended up working out a ride and I got the car when I went back in to work. Took it down the street to the car rental place to resolve some paperwork and then stopped by to see my old friends - Eric, Andy and Jason. Jason was the only one around, but it was a good visit. Ended up stopping by to see a few other people I hadn't met before - good idea all around. Back at work again around 1400 - powered through until 1630. Had to rush back to hotel to change, since our hosts had a party planned (in our honor). It turned out to a be a great time - lots of good conversation, food and drinks. Stayed until well past 2000 - when another old friend, Chris ("Chippy") walked in the door. I hadn't seen him in a long time and he wanted to catch up - so we went out to dinner (took Rob along, too). Ended up at the Skyline Bar - a good hangout. I ended up having spaghetti (everyone else tried another Cheesesteak). Headed back to the Navy Lodge at around 2200 and went back to work (to check email and tie up loose ends from the day). Finished with everything before midnight and then went straight to bed.  Flying tomorrow!
