Eagan, MN (USA)
After a pretty good sleep at the Residence Inn in Eagan, I got breakfast just before they closed the buffet. Like yesterday, I had lots more phone calls from work. Again, I went to the hotel gym and rode the on their stationary bike. Despite how short this break seemed, I still found that I had lots of emails and phone calls waiting for me back in the room. It's frustrating that I've spent nearly every day of this trip answering questions that I never get when I am home... Still, I had plenty of time for all that and some more studying. As a result, I felt much more prepared when I went over to training this afternoon. However, the simulator session took much longer. We had some trouble and had to repeat a few items. It's great to have time to refresh my procedures and try things I can't normally do at work but it is really eye-opening, too. I am glad I am learning from my mistakes now and not when it really counts! Got out of the sim at around 2300. Once again, I had weather to contend with on the way home. I found some more good food waiting in the room - the hotel folks are so nice! Stayed up later again to study and watch TV. One more day with the Sim and I'm on my way home!
