Like I said, it was only a nap...  I was startled awake at 0330L (!) by my alarm. Luckily, had already packed everything and was able to leave the Embassy Suites by 0400L. The drive back to the airport was OK but I had to pay closer attention than usual (it was dark, I was tired). Check-out process was quicker at the Budget rental car counter (finished at 0410) - a shuttle was waiting, too! Arrived at airport and had to go up and down in the terminal to get checked-in and go through security. Finally got done (after probably 45 minutes) but then found I had to take a train to the concourse. Eventually (0515), I got to my gate.  (The more I travel, the happier I am with the overall process at DFW...). Had a short time to check work email and do some other business online (free Wi-Fi). Boarded my American Airlines flight on time (0600) - the plane nearly full this time. Mercifully, the trip back to DFW seemed to go pretty quickly and the weather was good until we got close to home.  After that, rain...  We actually landed early (before 0900) and then had to wait for about 30 minutes to reach the gate.  Fortunately, my bag came through claim pretty quick. Nicky picked me up at DFW and we got home around 1000L. Very tired...
