[Didn't stray too far today... Spent several hours biking on the Mount Vernon trail (20 miles, between Roslyn and Fort Hunt - fell off my bike but didn't get hurt just after getting north of Old Town again) before adding about 3.5 miles at my favorite secret hiking spot in the area. One highlight was watching the rowing teams on the Potomac. It was great to be outside and around lots of active people. Once again, it didn't rain (gotta love those forecasts)... But the temperatures are perfect now - hoping for more great hiking weather before the Fall is over!]
