[worked late and originally planned to head home early - but I got a lot of pressure from co-workers to join them at the big happy hour planned for Chris' birthday - eventually gave in and walked to Penn Quarter with Joey around 1800 - the weather was nice enough for us to enjoy several hours in the courtyard at Poste Brasserie - bought a few rounds of drinks and stayed there until around 2100 - Chris was hungry, so Joey and I walked with him to Fuddruckers (2130) - had a good time after it was all over - it took a long time to get home on the Metro - started reading before bed (woke up a few times in the middle of it) - fell asleep very late (2345)]
