Woodstock, VT (USA)

[I teleworked all morning and Mollie read in her room - I shared recipes with her and we talked about the logistics of her trip the next day - in the afternoon, I drove Mollie to the Billings Farm (Woodstock, VT) for an interview with Chuck, the farm manager (we arrived at 1430) - Mollie told me later that she’d enjoyed the experience - I’d planned to do some driving practice with Mollie but the road conditions were rather dangerous - instead, we returned home via West Lebanon, stopping at Mac’s Maple (closed), Home Depot (for nuts and bolts) and then got an early dinner at Koto Japanese Steakhouse (arrived at 1615) - we both really enjoyed the food and had a nice conversation about the success of her visit, her possible summer plans (work, internships, volunteering, driving), our travel plans for Virginia and upcoming school courses - Mollie checked in with my dad (planned lunch with him when she was staying with my sister's family) and coordinated with Gerard (who said he had to cancel our meet up on January 15) - after we got home, Mollie did chores (dishes and laundry), asked if she could have one of my coats (I gave her my dad’s old Navy Flight Jacket) and rested in her room - later, she made sandwiches for her trip and let me know about her travel/visit plans - when I went to bed (2200), she must already have dozed off because she never answered when I said good night]
