Summer Vacation - Day 1

[left at 0800 - rain - talking with Nicky about maybe handing off Erin - I-495, I-95, I-695, I-83 - breakfast in Shrewsbury (PA) at Chick-fil-A (0945) - back-roading to interstate - switched to I-81 - some traffic and lots of construction - weather very nice - gas in Hazleton (PA) at 1155 - lunch in car - I-84 - toll at Hudson - sw of Hartfotd, changed to I-691 and then took CT-66 (?) all the way to CT-16 and then CT-2 to I-395 to US-6 to I-295 to I-95 - then Brenna's phone directions (I-93, MA-3) - arrived at 1800 - went with Katie and her family to their friend Derek's house for cookout and birthday party - stayed until around 2100 - phone call with Carolyn - DVD movie ("You Again") with kids - bed around 2300]
