White River Junction, VT (USA)

Election Day! After starting my work day quite early, I went to vote at the Hanover High School - I was the first person who got a ballot from the C-D table! Home again by 0715, I then teleworked until 1500.  At that point, I drove to White River Junction to volunteer at the LISTEN Community Dining Hall.  Other parishioners from Sacred Heart Parish were but the parking lot was nearly empty (because of election day?).  After integrating into our team (1515), I assisted with meal prep, got the counter ready for serving and then gave away corn bread.  Once some other volunteers arrived, I backed up to the "support role" and kept the serving trays filled.  We served only about 80 meals - the vibe was very strange...  Afterwards (1745), I headed to West Lebanon for some shopping and found deserted stores.  I made it home by 1830 and did some more teleworking.  By 1900, I began watching the election returns.  Crossing fingers for good results!
