White River Junction, VT (USA)

My dad told me he wanted to come visit me so we could celebrate his upcoming 80th Birthday.  In anticipation of his arrival, I organized a downhill ski outing for the coming weekend (he'd said he wanted to go).  Prior to his arrival, though, I spent the morning teleworking (started very early).  At 0815, I took a break and drove to White River Junction (UVAC) for a workout; I swam for 45 minutes (50 lengths), did 15 minutes in the sauna, did some PT exercises on the weight equipment, biked for about 14 minutes (3.1 miles), rowed for 5 minutes (1K).  Afterwards (1000), I drove home (arrived at about 1015) and resumed teleworking until 1700.  My dad arrived in the late afternoon and, when I was able, we drove over to White River Junction to eat dinner at Big Fatty's BBQ.  There was live music playing (my dad really liked that) and the food was excellent.  I had the "Fatty Daddy" (burger with all kinds of toppings, including mac & cheese, and some local beers) while my dad had some Cuban mac and cheese.  After we were finished (1845), we drove back across the Connecticut River to Hannaford so my dad could pick up some items he wanted.  Once finished with that, we headed back to my condo (arrived at around 1930).  For the rest of the evening, we talked and relaxed.  My dad wanted to do some reading so I adjourned to my room to watch movies on my tablet.  I went to bed at 2215 - lots to do for the next few days!
