I’ve gotten used to joining my friends from White River Junction VA Medical Center Adaptive Sports Team for Tuesday evening bike rides this summer but they took a break this week. Instead, I decided to get out on the Northern Rail Trail by myself for once. After work (1645), I drove to Sacred Heart and left my car there. On my bike, I passed by plenty of pretty Fall Foliage as I rode between Sacred Heart and (Mascoma) Lakeside Park in Enfield. Felt great after cycling 13 miles in 66 minutes (11.69 mph) on my Diamond Back Response Elite! Afterwards, I returned to Sacred Heart and spent an hour (1805 to 1905) chipping paint off of the deck and stairs at the Parish Office. I also got to visit with Father Charles when I was finished with the Paint Project. Made it home by 1930. Glad to have had a good day for biking!
