Lebanon, NH (USA)

I decided not to go out of town this weekend because of several local event opportunities.  I woke up early (0630) and got ready for my day.  Between 0745 and 0915, I attended the monthly Men of St. Joseph meeting at Sacred Heart.  Afterwards, I did an hour of paint chipping (for Father Charles) and finished at 1030.  From there, I drove to Jakes and got gas and car wash.  Next, I drove to White River Junction so I could work out at UVAC.  I arrived at 1100 and rode a stationary bike for 20 minutes (5 miles), rowed for 10 minutes and lifted weights.  After that, I went swimming for 45 minutes and took in a 10 minute sauna.  Finished with the gym, I drove home (arrived at 1310) and spent a few hours resting and doing paperwork.  At 1530, I drove to Sacred Heart and helped out in the kitchen (prepping for the Parish event in the evening)  I went to Mass at 1600 and, afterwards, returned to the kitchen.  Beginning at around 1700, our Knights Council served a big feast for Oktoberfest at Sacred Heart.  Father Charles added some of his own recipes into the mix!  There were Brats & Kraut, Noodles & Sauerbraten, Kartoffelpuffer (German Potato Pancakes), Bingo games, prizes and decadent sweets.  All told, we had good food, fun and fellowship.  I headed home afterwards (1900) and spent the rest of the evening watching movies.  It sure wasn't a boring day!
